Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for the information on Country Haven Boarding. What can I say, you guys are the best!!! I had so much anxiety about leaving my German Shepherd,Kendra. I had never boarded a dog of mine before and didn't know what to expect of her. Kendra has proven in the past to be a hard dog to handle which was the root of my fear for boarding her.
Before I even got to Country Haven, I was thoroughly informed of all your proceedures and how you guys work while on the phone. I live in Jim Thorpe, Pa approx 110 miles from there and it would not have been too easy for me to get down there. After talking on the phone with you and Nancy I already felt somewhat at ease.
When the day came to drop her off, I was very upset about leaving her. I know thats probably normal for most people but I felt it was worse for me. That was my baby I was leaving at a strange place. I was met at the door by Nancy and she couldn't have been any more welcoming. She came outside and met my Kendra, amazingly enough Kendra wagged her tail and seemed pretty warm to her. Nancy brought me in the back and showed me where Kendra would be staying during her visit there. She explained all your proceedures, showed me all around the place and how Kendra would be cared for. Your facility is so clean, its eveident how you all care for animals. We set her up with her own bed, her food bowls and ball. She seemed to be very content there. Nancy and I went into the office and had a great conversation; what a nice person she is!!! I felt completely comfortable leaving her at that point so I hit the road for home.
While I was on the last day of my vacation I had a change of plans that gave me the opportunity to pick Kendra up a day early from our original agreed pick up date. That happen to be a Sunday and your pick up times were in the evening only, but because I live 2 hours away I wanted to pick her up in the morning, I called and without hesitation you guys made special arrangements for me to come down and get her. Nancy actually came in from her home so I could be accomodated. I thought that was great! You guys gave me a report on how Kendra was the whole week and all what she had been up to. She came running out to greet me and she was doing great; happy & healthy! She also smelled good!!
I just wanted you to know that all my fears about boarding Kendra was completely unnecessary. She was well cared for and loved while I was gone and that means the world to me!! I will not hesitate for a second to bring her back to you each and everytime I go away.

Hi All,
I wanted to take the time and thank you for taking such wonderful care of my dog Leo last week. Leo was so excited and happy to see Bill and Nancy when we arrived at the kennel. Once inside Leo walked around the office like he owned the place. Leo was quite happy and content laying on the floor behind the desk next to Nancy's chair when I went to leave.
Whenever I called during the week to check on Leo, they assured me that he was doing fine. When it was time to pick Leo up he was outside in the exercise area running around and playing with Bill. What a nice feeling it is to know that I can always count on leaving my dog with you and your staff and that he is in good hands.
Leo thinks that Country Haven Kennels is his second home and he looks forward to his next stay with you.
Thank you again for providing such a warm, cozy and wonderful place for Leo to stay at when I need to board him.
